Brand packaging redesign
for Mary's chocolates in Brussel's, Belgium
Mary Sites-02.png
Project Context: Mary Delluc began her craft in 1919 as the first female chocolatier in Brussels. She was a pioneer who turned chocolate from a medicine additive to a luxury item. Currently, Mary's main sales come from their flagship shop in Grand Place, Brussels. The brand is looking for a way to share their famous treats to a larger audience.

Design Objective: Design a new method of packaging that protects each chocolate during long-term travel while providing an opportunity for a gifting moment to loved ones.

Traditional Belgian Patterns:
Mary's uses watercolor flowers and traditional patterns on their current store walls and website designs. These are reflected in the hexagon sides, while the toppers made from gold plated stainless steel can be taken home overseas and collected over time.

Seasonal Opportunities
Mary's new packaging can be used to celebrate such as Women's History month and Christmas. The stacking method allows for each pattern to be visible from all angles.
